God Eater 3 Certification Walkthrough Empty God Eater 3 Certification Walkthrough

Post by Alala Kuran Mon Mar 18, 2019 6:07 pm

Currently coming up with a certification mission walkhrough as a self-reminder. There's 30 missions per tab, and two tabs to do; first there's the standard class side which can be done in small groups such as with characters and/or players, then there's the elite side where someone is up to deal with the chaos alone, meaning 60 in total. It starts off deceptively easy but they eventually start to get crazy in levels later on quite early, and one sharp notice is the extremely short span of time to do a task right away. Apparently both tabs have the same set of 30 missions to do which look the same, so here's the gig.

Stage 1-
Objective: Kill everything
Target/s: Blast Spiders (a lot, about 8 to 10+)
Threat level: Weak
Time: Extremely Short!! (1 Minute!!)
Zone: City Ruins 2 (Downtown)
Side: Both (no difference in standard or elite, but elite pays more)
Notes: Just a bunch of pesky bugs as a start, gets annoying quickly but manageable. Try not to get pummeled too much as there's not a lot of time to be pest control.

Stage 2-
Objective: Kill everything
Target/s: Cocoon Maidens
Threat Level: Weak
Time: Extremely Short!! (act swiftly! 2 Minutes!)
Zone: City Ruins 1 (Destroyed Chapel)
Side: Both are same, elite pays more
Notes: Cocoon Maidens are spread out quite far and there's not much time to stop them so one needs to act swiftly! Take a devour out of one and use Burst Arts to quickly dispose the trash while using Dive Boost to get to the next one! They die in one to two hits even against a weak weapon, certainly one swipe if using a Burst Art attack.

Stage 3-
Objective: Boss Raid! Defeat all Bosses!
Target/s: Ukonvasaras x2
Threat Level: Weak
Time: Short (4 Minutes)
Zone: City Ruins 2 (Downtown)
Side: Both are the same.
Notes: A boss raid means that they're all out at once to cause trouble! There's two thunder gators from God Eater 2 here, and they are extremely weak in defense and health but pack quite a hit with normal attack power! Try luring one away from the other and quickly kill both bosses to end the stage.

Stage 4-
Objective: Boss Battle!
Target/s: Nemain
Threat Level: Moderately Weak
Time: 5 Minutes
Zone: Underground Facility 1
Side: Seems slightly weaker in Elite but has higher pay...?
Notes: Just a one-on-one duel with the flaming jouster bird who is somewhat nerfed. Nothing special except a 5 minute time-bomb before failure!

Stage 5-
Objective: Kill everything
Target/s: Pike Beetles (a lot! ~10+)
Threat Level: Weak
Time: Very short! (2 Minutes!)
Zone: Water Valley 1
Side: Both seem the same
Notes: Nothing special to note except that there's quite a lot of bugs; however these customers are beetles this time so expect a lot of sneaky low-blows... (that sounded a bit wrong...) take the pest control in 2 minutes.

Stage 6-
Objective: Boss Raid! Defeat both opponents!
Target/s: Fallen Nemain and Quadriga
Threat Level: Moderately Weak
Time: 7 Minutes
Zone: City Ruins 2 (Downtown)
Side: Seems they are a bit weaker in Elite side
Notes: An unfair boss raid, yes both are out at once so best to focus on getting rid of the Ice Jouster first before Mr. Quadriga catches up! The seem slightly weaker than normal but can be quite a nasty mess if they pair up!

Stage 7-
Objective: Kill Peons Only!
Target/s: Axe Raiders (about ~8 or so)
Threat Level: High!
Gimmick: Invader at large!
Invader: Havakiri
Time: Extremely short!! (2 Minutes!)
Zone: City Ruins 1 (Destroyed Chapel)
Side: ???
Notes: Usually one's natural impulse is to take down the boss and ignore most of the small fry, well? Objection! - Not being listed, there's an invader: Havakiri the infamous! The boss is a nasty distraction, fighting her will only cause a rumpus and jeopardize the mission, so ignore the giant invader for once, except make sure to utilize stun grenades and shock traps here to get her to slow down! Focus only on getting rid of the peons or the mission will be a failure!

Stage 8-
Objective: Boss Battle!
Target/s: Borg Camlann (Neutral)
Threat Level: Moderate
Time: 10 minutes
Zone: Frozen Facility 1 (Generator)
Side: ???
Notes: A pesky scorpion knight by the name of Mr. Borg Camlann is around, but there's sure to be another nasty surprise so be careful! When approaching him from behind, he'll call out x5 Blast Spiders to raise annoyance. His stats seem average overall and easy to get rid of, as usual.

Stage 9-
Objective: Boss Raid! Kill only the Specific Boss: Kongou!
Target/s: Kongou
Gimmick: Distractions!
Invader/s: Quadriga, Gboro-Gboro
Threat Level: High!
Time: 10 Minutes
Zone: Water Valley 1
Side: ???
Notes: Quite a nasty batch of invaders here this time! Multiple bosses are in the way but one has to take care of this "Monkey Business" and in 10 minutes, disregarding the Fish-Tank, lol! In other words: Focus -strictly- on the Kongou only, even if the other two bosses are a major nuisance!

Stage 10-
Objective: Boss Raid! Defeat both bosses!
Target/s: Chi-You x2
Threat Level: Tough Fight!
Time: 10 Minutes
Zone: Underground Facility 2 (Core)
Side: ???
Notes: This is the part where these classification missions actually start to show some nasty difficulty now. These karate birds will be extremely annoying, and both need be silenced in 10 minutes. Expect heavy resistance as they seem a bit stronger than usual this time!

Stage 11-
Objective: Boss Raid! Kill the Fish only!
Target/s: Gboro-Gboro
Threat Level: High!
Gimmick: Distractions!
Invader/s: ???
Time: Extremely Short! (3 Minutes!!)
Zone: Frozen Facility 1 (Generator)
Side: ???
Notes: This is quite a pain in the rear! Only 3 minutes to go fishing out that Gboro-Gboro while there's quite a few other annoying distractions in the way, bosses at that too! That's not a lot of time, despite the fact that the fish has been kind of nerfed in health!

Stage 12-
Objective: Boss Raid! Destroy them all!
Target/s: Dyaus Pita and Fire Barbarius
Threat Level: High!
Time: 10 Minutes
Zone: Underground Facility 2 (Conveyor Zone)
Side: ???
Notes: Dyaus Pita is a pain but if Fallen Barbarius catches up with his nasty defense-break status from his pyro attacks then this will bet to be a chaotic mess and fast! Focus on getting rid of Pyro-Barbarius first things first, as he seems to be the weaker of the two.

Stage 13-
Objective: Boss Raid!
Target/s: Gboro-Gboro (x3)?
Threat Level:
Gimmick: Bosses start to invade the zone within minutes if taking too long!
Time: 10 Minutes
Zone: Water Valley 1
Side:
Notes:

Stage 14-
Objective: Boss Rush! (?)
Target/s: Vajra, Fallen False Idol, Havakiri
Threat Level:
Time: 10 Minutes
Zone: Dark Ruins 1 (Corrupted City)
Side:
Notes:

Stage 15-
Objective: Kill Everything
Target/s: Cocoon Maidens, Fallen Ice Spiders, Axe Raiders
Threat Level: Moderate
Time: Short! (3 minutes!)
Zone: Water Valley 2 (Mines)
Side: ???
Notes: Sadly, this is the last mission of spanking just somewhat weak peons who actually have increased health and power, after these guys there's nothing but bosses as the hit-list subjects. Have fun taking out the trash... in only three minutes!

Stage 16-
Objective: Boss Battle!
Target/s: Kyubi
Threat Level: High!
Time: 10 Minutes
Zone: Dark Ruins 1 (Corrupt City)
Side: ???
Notes: A nasty Kyubi decided to show up and give everyone a bad day, time to shut him up in 10 minutes!

Stage 17-
Objective: Boss Battle!
Target/s: Marduk the Wolf
Threat Level: High!
Time: 6 Minutes!
Zone: Underground Facility 1 (Conveyor Zone)
Side: ???
Notes: Marduk has a few little rats as his fleet this time, but they are slightly stronger while he suffers a bit of lowered health but normal attack power, and needs to be silenced under a painful 6 minutes!

Stage 18-
Objective: Boss Rush!
Target/s: Barbarius, Gawain, Bahamut
Threat Level: High!
Time: 10 Minutes
Zone: Water Valley 2 (Mines)
Side: ???
Notes: A boss rush of a nasty trio who are all cold-hearted devils of no remorse! Their health may be lower than normal slightly but they pack quite a nasty punch, and that's not a lot of time to spare for taking them down!

Stage 19-
Objective: Boss Battle!
Target/s: Anubis
Threat Level: High
Time: 5 Minutes!
Zone: Underground Facility 2 (Core)
Side: ???
Notes: Taking on an Ashborn Boss in only a short amount of time, he is only slightly weakened in defense but retains a nasty offensive arsenal, and his devouring still hurts terribly!

Stage 20-
Objective: Boss Battle!
Target: Amen Ra
Threat Level: Lethal!
Time: 10 Minutes
Zone: City Ruins 1 (Chapel) - At Night
Side: ???
Clear Prize: Chrysantheum and Gleiphnir Attire, Sleepy Vajra on head (Standard)
Notes: For current players, this is a first brand new boss to the game after its first update patch! This is yet another Ashborn Type Boss so expect extreme Danger! Unlike Standard Ra and Icy Version Ra, this variant might be his "final" form who switched to anti-divine power yet is weak to divine force as well. New tricks to expect up this bad bird's sleeves are: he teleports more frequently than his two lesser brethren, each "basic" attack he pulls off has a nasty chance of causing Radar EMP-Jamming (while seems like a joke at first, this gets nasty later), and his new trick of devouring victims allow him to shoot up to x4 devour missiles at a victim and if he's really angry he'll also us a ground dash with 2 more in hand at who he is assaulting from a blind spot! The biggest difference now is that he will summon a distracting clone of himself to raise the havoc and make the battle a chaotic mess; however, if clever God Eaters destroy Amen Ra's faker, he'll trip over and be left vulnerable for 5 to 10 seconds knocked out!

Stage 21-
Objective: Boss Battle!
Target: Hannibal
Threat Level: High!
Gimmick: Weak Part on boss, faster access to dangerous attacks!
Time: 7 Minutes
Zone: Frozen Plant 1 (Generator)
Side: ???
Notes: Nothing much else to know except that instead of as spoiled here, this Hannibal is just like in the previous God Eater games where his back-unit scale is stupidly brittle and prone to breaking too easily, granting him easy access to his super move like back in the day, and he hurts just as badly when using them. Take him out like fighting him previously in a high-difficulty area but under 7 minutes this time.

Stage 22-
Objective: Boss Rush! Defeat them all!
Target/s: Fallen Nemain, Fallen Havakiri, Ashborn Nuadha
Threat Level: High!
Time: 15 Minutes
Zone: Frozen Facility 1 (Generator)
Side: ???
Notes: A boss rush with nasty customers! Take them down but expect some casualties as they hurt when they hit, especially from Oni-Arm Nuahda!

Stage 23-
Objective: Boss Raid! Silence the Psion!
Target/s: Marduk the Wolf
Threat Level: Lethal!
Gimmicks: Psion summons the distractions! More bosses invade overtime!
Invaders: Chi-you, Kongou (if taking too long)
Time: 10 Minutes
Zone: Water Valley 2 (Mines)
Side: ???
Notes: This mission will have someone go Rage-Burst while off-game, truly! A returning nuisance at one of his worst, the Marduk will instantly sound an alarm to call reinforcements and the worse one of all first: the Chi-You will certainly not hesitate to be a major pain in the ass. Take too long and he'll also have a pompous Kongou drop in for even further annoyance. Marduk is the main target to dispose of and this will be very difficult when he never shuts up. The lesser bosses seem to be powered up as well, making things much worse than needed.

Stage 24-
Objective: Boss Rush! Defeat two bosses!
Target/s: Gawain, Anubis
Threat Level: High!
Time: 15 Minutes
Zone: Dark Ruins 1 (Corrupted City)
Side: ???
Notes: A pompous boss rush with two of the toughest quad-legged trolls ever. Gawain will be a pain but no room for rest because Anubis is next in line after he is taken out of town. Their health may be a bit nerfed for times sake but their attack power seems raised.

Stage 25-
Objective: Boss Battle!
Target/s: Dyaus Pita
Threat Level: Lethal!!
Gimmick: Instant-Transform Pita!
Time: 10 Minutes
Zone: Fenrir Ruins Arena
Side: ???
Clear Prize: Crimson Queen Unit Attire, Chubby Anubis on head (Standard)
Notes: Pesky Dyaus Pita arrived but this time he starts the round off already transformed and packs a nasty hit! Expect heavy casualties and a -Rage Burst- lol...

Stage 26-
Objective: Boss Raid-Rush! (?)
Target/s: Vajra x2, Ashborn Balmung
Threat Level: High!
Time: 20 Minutes
Zone: Dark Ruins 2 (City Depths)
Side: ???
Notes: An irritating boss raid first of two Vajra Brothers causing a lot of havoc are the first phase of this rush; for after they are taken out, their "lord": Balmung comes in as their last line of defense, alone. Sadly, they pack increased power and normal defense so expect a painful fight... perhaps the twin Vajras might be more of the annoyance of the battle than Balmung himself as they will cause a lot of wear-and-tear to the fleet.

Stage 27-
Objective: Boss Raid! Defeat them all!
Target/s: Bahamut, Havakiri, Kyubi
Threat Level: Lethal!
Gimmick: One comes after another if taking too long!
Time: 20 Minutes
Zone: Frozen Facility 2 (Core)
Side: ???
Notes: Each of these bosses have ridiculous power and can cause mass casualties, especially Bahamut at worst who happens to be the first boss in the way. Take too long and his back-up will arrive one after another to worsen things, hopefully he may be flattened before or just seconds after the next challenger shows up at least before things get too chaotic...

Stage 28-
Objective: Boss Raid-Rush!
Target/s: Arrient Sariel and False Idol, Ashborn Ra
Threat Level: Lethal!!
Gimmick: Bosses have extreme power!
Time: 20 Minutes
Zone: Dark Ruins 2 (City Depths)
Side: ???
Notes: Nearing the final line of enemy defenses, these three take an odd formation of two-as-first, then the Ashborn showing up last. Prepare for pesky air boss fights because they all love to fly, and have exaggerated attack power where almost every move they do results in a fatal 1 to 2 hit casualty from every swoop they do, all of them at that to boot! Expect an extremely long, painful battle with a terrible rank, even in a group run. A spear with a certain air attack Burst Art Skill is essential for chasing after these jerks without draining too much energy or being left wide open for a nasty counter, but it won't always work!

Stage 29-
Objective: Boss Battle!
Target/s: (Overdrive) Dromi
Threat Level: Lethal!!
Gimmick: No devouring attempts from boss, but Infinite Overdrive Mode!
Time: 20 Minutes
Zone: City Ruins 1 (Chapel) - Night time
Side: ???
Notes: Good and bad news for this one... the good first as it's moot later: this Ashborn Boss won't ever bother chasing people for a nasty Devour Attack... but the kicker is because he is already set in Burst Overdrive, and sadly he is in infinite overdrive mode like White Fatalis from Monster Hunter, and he too has exaggerated attack power on top of this, making almost every single move of his a 1-shot fatality. Expect to emit a Rage Burst off of the game from enduring a very long stress burn of a boss fight while the team will certainly suffer extreme casualties, chances of some not being able to fight back... While traps may somewhat help, it's recommend to bring at least one other player and utilize unloading a hefty amount of well-placed flash grenades to slow this overgrown son-of-a-bitch down for some breathing room! Using a scythe with Inferno Rush is also a recommendation to hit him at mid-range and avoid some brunt fire if he's caught off-guard too!

Final Stage
Objective: Final Boss Battle!
Target/s: Amen Ra
Threat Level: No Hope!!
Gimmick: Overpowered Boss
Time: 20 Minutes
Zone:
Side: ???
Clear Prize: Pennywort Attire, Ammit Mask (Standard)
Notes: Amen Ra is back for another round, this time worthy of being called a real final boss battle! While there's double the time to deal with him now, sadly he will certainly cause extreme casualties and high to almost absolute chances of putting one or two people out of commission! Utilizing flash grenades helps if mobbed but won't be an absolute savior, so still keep a full load of them on hand for sure, and knocking out his clone is a must-do in order to open a counterattack chance, but beware any chance he does a devour attack because if done right, he will absolutely and instantly destroy a victim, costing him/her three lives on a single mistake! Also noticed that he does a devour combo move by shooting four spheres of doom at a victim and then dash at his prey with two more in hand for 5 seconds before failing and attempting to do another one. This is the final mission, give it all you've got!
