Yep. They have released a custom firmware that doesn't require a pandora battery. For those interested, reply with your Firmware Version and I will provide you with a link on how to get it set up.

Re: For those interested in playing MHP3...
I posted this simply because I had mentioned it to Ren a good while back. Due to her having a newer OFW than the one I used to get the CFW originally. Apparently they have made a method for the OFW 6.39 to be softmodded as well. That is all.

6.20, 6.35, 6.39, and even 6.60. i've kept up to tabs with Total_Noob's HEN and the PRO LCFW, and still do. i'm still waiting for the big breakthrough of PRO-C once it's completed. the big method for that is going to be re-routing the signal for ad-hoc play on psps, and send it to the wifi router for true online play on coldbird's server. which has already been done on a beta which can be found here - http://www.coldbird.uk.to/?e=7
though it only supports the US version of Gods Eater Burst, and only works on 6.20-39. this was made way before 6.60 was developed

Re: For those interested in playing MHP3...
I'd love to myself actually but still a bit confused;
I have FW 6.60 or something like that, and another question which I was
wondering was is if I could revert anytime or not if I do make a change? Is
it possible? Also I still have the 1GB card stuck with from years ago too, and
I hear that some of those types take much larger cards than this.

not that i know of. most OFW upgrade files use like 25-30 megs, i think. i can point you to a downgrader to revert it to 6.35 like mine is, and from there go with PRO-B9
