Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen Empty Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen

Post by Arala Cran Fri Apr 11, 2014 9:44 am

Okay so as a few of you have seen, I've gotten hold of Dragon's Dogma at first but I "lost interest" after a certain point.... (damn you bandits!! Thanks a lot for jeopardizing my escort mission AND killing me several times in a row! Complaining )
and so I put off on it after a while for a few months, however I did some research lately and found out like with Monster Hunter 2 that they had bumped it with a "2G/Unite" version, they also did Dragon's Dogma with "Dark Arisen", let alone how the black box itself kept saying I had it instead of the normal(?) and that was telling me something...

I for once had to sell the original one since not a PSP game to stack on and exchange it for the actual "Dark Arisen" version and oddly enough they made some of the enemies in places much easier, while others rather a bit harder, but the new "Underworld Island" area a rather ridiculously harder zone which curiosity killed this poor cat rather over 4 to 6 times. Ouch!  Oops!

Regardless, here's my status now, and I am thinking I may need to replace some people in my party here soon...

Seriously enough when I saw him I just ran away like a schoolgirl (not kidding, I hit the L3 button and ignored the goblins and just fled till my energy ran out and I got through the door) let alone when I saw all those bars vs my level at the time, way too weak for him.

A very good game. Need to go through the island twice to face the real demon though.

Accidentally killed death by knocking him off the bridge Mad

Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen Empty Re: Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen

When I first encoutered death I was like, "LET'S DANCE BABY!!!" and then I was like, "I just shot him for no dmg, time to get the fuck out." Facing him in the dark was scary, but only for the thought of losing any of my team. He hit my healer once and it took me like 30 minutes pawn hunting to find another.

I played an Assasin, using a 1h sword and short bow. My pawn was a Ranger that Priotized protecting the player and killing the strong 2nd.

The 1h sword I used was the Dragon's Dogma, which is really powerfull, and due to being a 1h sword assasin it was super easy to dragonforge. I was never able to get a 2nd or 3rd upgrade past dragonforge. Dragonforge used to be max untill Dark Arisen came out. I was also a Ranger for awhile to get the Dragon weapons for my pawn, and to dragonforge them, unfortunatly her longbow was eventually out powered by another bow i found.

Also I played it on the 360 so i'm pretty sure you can't hire my pawn, but if you want to try search for Silsia.

Actually I do have the only one on X-360 so I think it may be possible.  Laughing

Cool, she tends to be somewhat op sometimes. She's hit about 5 hp bars off a a dragon in the Dark Arisen dungeon in one shot, the only problem with that move is it takes her awhile to charge it up to do that kind of dmg. (and it has to hit the dragons heart, but the ai has amazing aim)
