Glad of you to join Etna's forum, but... sorry we don't allow new mods
anymore so easily. We've faced a pretty nasty batch of problems from the
last bunch before here. We especially can't allow demanding users any rank
changes either due to that crisis which taught us a hard-learned lesson about
what happens to people that are carelessly friendly to allow every member to
have free control of the site.

Welcome to the site, I am 3rd place Administrator and also over site security. NO Im not a REAL cop but I just like to scare people...

We get that alot so im gonna go ahead an explain things to you.

Even though we all know who be the main admin over this site, our pack goes by simple but strict rules. And that, is one of them which you stated above. Though we normally don't post these rules due to it scaring the crowd.

Any new member who joins any of our sites have to prove themselves to earn a promotion of being a new mod or staff member.

Reasons why are as to what CG said above...

Most of the time new members only ask to become staff so that they can run thing their way. We understand that some people are not like that but we have to make sure, cause we've seen way to many to be carelessly giving away any free promotion of becoming a staff/moderator.

So if you fulfill any of the deeds which you believe it would take to be a mod/staff member, then you should try and work on it first.

Such examples would be:
1 Giving other members good advice and helping them out rather it be a basic member or even a moderator, staff member or even an administrator.

2 You don't have to be an active member but at least show up from 3 to 4 times a month if not in a week. You should also let every one know if you will be absent, and for how long you will be. Some times an administrator or even staff member would get disturbed of any inactive accounts without warning, and may even accident delete them by mistake.

3 Any means of supporting the forum (This does not include paying) say by helping the sites popularity grow and inviting your friends or any one you know to join the site.

NOTE: Cause sometimes even being a kind member realy just isn't enough to gain trust. So try and think of some ways you could help not only yourself, but the rest of the members here to make yourself more popular.

TIPS: If you are a great designer, artist, animation creator, ect... you just MIGHT get promoter right away. Any of your abilities could help the site.
