After a lost message I'm not in a good mood but screw it
Reposting again, but not everything.

Anyway, I got my hands on Ragnarok Oddesy, simple enough. Got random crap in it and bad language but whatever. Still fits in my list of must-have A-RPGs for PSP/Vita even if it pisses me off.

I'm too "lazy" to have to type up all those damned stats I did earlier after my post got junked, rudely.

As for record of Fight, I finally found the tick of destroying the main boss of stage 6: Archer Mode... the one I hate. It's pitiful but the ONLY long ranged attack mode which I can pull off ...."HEADSHOT!!" lines like crazy since that's his weak point. Also found ways to counter his Nuclear Winter-Fist shockwave of death: staying in the Stratosphere! Yup, WAY up there and pray that one's AP does NOT hit the deathly Zero-Mark of goodbye!

For my Archery mode here, the tactic was if he did that, get into the Stratosphere ASAP! If he does the fatal Anti-Air tornado toss, stay flat on the floor and DON'T MOVE even if hit by the first while in the MIDDLE of the field and NEVER.EVER near a wall!

Took me two tries to figure out hitting the big poison Lizard when it's glowing is BAD!

: Shoot him with Foie (Fire Bolt) and fly the HELL away from that creeper.
That creep's a pain.

P-s: Grendel was a pushover but almost trashed teh fort compared to me. I kicked his can in one go following your tips.

I think I'm at Orc Hero. Is it me or is Ranger one of the weakest class?

Sadly in my oppinion yes, even here. I never was fond of it ever since even trying it out in all Phantasy Star games till higher levels of the style there (I'm a FONewearl, not a ranger. Technics are my best even if low HP/defense yet sometimes switching to hunter or vanguard/arcomaster types are a rare exception temporarily from time to time), but here was even worse; however, there is only ONE exception to that: The St-6.10 Boss. Save it for him, don't waste time with it on others. It's not the best thing to use, especially if alone.

Buzz me anytime you're open, but so far I've got all the way to St-8.10 Boss and it's one UGLY monstrosity! First giant orcs, then tidy-dressed giants who aren't stupid, now.... BIO WEAPONS?!?! How the HELL am I supposed to destroy something THAT ugly and before it crosses the red line?!

but boy will I say, St-8 Areas will KICK YOUR BEHIND badly! It goes from very strong enemies to actual Boss Tag-Teams going Gradius & Monster Hunter style now where you kill one then yet another steps up in his place, angry as hell!

Not only that, but the cheapest part is with Hajinr and Fenrir, they have back-up: the WORST enemies in the game: Leshys! If you don't have the Anti-Bind potions in hand you can just call that a failure if not in a pinch like 90% of the entire boss fights with those bastards! Bad enough I was stuck in a pinch more than several times when they were paired with High-Orcs but with the Lizard bosses? Oh you can guess what happened on the first sight.... Gangbang and ripping. (lol okay sorry that sounded too H-like, but um yes.... the SOB fragged me INSTANTLY through the door! )

Still was worth a go because there's yet three more new outfits: two are another pair of the sexy types, and the 3rd is Mina's armor. Pics later when I get my money back after bashing up Grendel and upgrading my Hammerer "The Thunderer" set to as far as possible including the so-called Ultima Weapon with it as far as I can go.

I'll get there eventually.

If the arrows did any sort of hitstun and actually hit what you were targeting then it would be one of the better classes.

Best I remember to follow up my main Anti-Giant tactic. Looks like my Mage style is going to be the ONLY thing I can stick with here! Bring it! Crashed your first party already and only took the first and final hit (below the belt /// ) by the very last remaining HillGiant Chief? How anti-climatic of a challenge! All I did was stay in the back and use Foie-Shot all day long and they couldn't stand even that. This might be easier than I thought, yet long, but I'll be crushing their defenses till the TRUE LAST BOSS(es) appear!

Also though, I think I hit a stop point till we can all rally-up together (I wish we could do that some time sooner or later.....)

'Kay, stage 5 was a bit of a scorcher ever since that bastard Skoll came back with a few new twists, stage 6-B had me stuck going three days in a row in shame because of Hajnir but he failed, stage 8 was rough because of an unexpected Bio-Weapon, but THIS AREA IS HELL!!!

Stage 9 is a butt-kicker, truly! The first part was fin and actually easy but 2,3,4, bosses of 5, and THIS: the return of SIGMA codenaming himself "Surt" is pure insanity! There's no way I'll get past him.

Been using the Cleric class. There's something satisfying as smashing things over the head with a blunt object

: Like, LOL!! I too started off with it as well and it (well for now) is my 2nd most powerful style and has anti-stall chance. It's great for a quick combo-bashdown when timed just right too.

But um, yes I litterlly hit the stop sign hard here. I certainly will NOT be getting beyond stage 9.6
Took the side stages too, and they are still just as brutal. Barely crawled out of the desert stage alive no thanks to sinful WOLVES!!! Argh!! Those are the worst ones in the game to boot while at it!

I got access to a new armor set however and of course much better side-type weapons for assassin and warrior styles along with a even stronger hammer but the weakest wand and poorly-stats Mushroom-Mace weapons. I got so angry for TWO failures there that I tossed one of them out the door (well it had ALL bad stats anyway so was right to discard!) and trying to deal with Feina at THAT area is a royal pain in the rear because of the pompous Dodomori punks running around making matters even worse this time, let alone having to work my way all the way over there to her in a TINY RING....... along with HillGiant Chiefs ambushing the crap out of me from nowhere... yup, DOUBLE FAIL and those were both "Game OVER!! " failures which I just cut the power off.
Well at least I found SOMETHING out of one of those insane stages. Of course, Sigma is cheap as well, archer style fails yet again.

But look, something even MORE bogus happens! I look around for some info and found someone else stuck on St-6.10B and NOBODY said a word to help the poor bugger for over several days, so I step up and tell him/her in full detail that on THIS stage it IS recommended, more over to required actually, that they need to use the Ranger style, stay in the sky to dodge the Nuclear-Winter Fist of death, and stay on the ground when a tornado is coming their way even if hit until the 2nd one is gone, and counter via rapid-fire Headshots. All of a sudden within 5 minutes later, then "someone else" shows up with a much less helpful way of a reply:

"Err... I'm gonna keep this short. Use your strongest class, break both of his shoulders and then Hulk Smash him in the face."

Are they kidding me.... Not very smart of a choice, try to get in his face and one will be DISINTEGRATED to dust! I found that out the hard way more than enough times to know already.... what an idiot!
