Questioning about PS-Vita Functions

Well, this topic is to ask about and tell about functions the PS-Vita can do. This counts for any and everything known about it or not known.

For starters, I was lost about the "Near" function. I've only just triggered it three weeks ago from a remote place so I was wondering how to send items from in specific games to friends directly with it. Example: Sending a weapon to a friend on Ragnarok Odyssey.

: Hmm, I too was wondering about it. I wish I could figure how to use it properly to send the few of you here some of my "junk" that does like 115+ damage in R-O.

sounds like you can only give away normal ones
silver and gold you cannot gift
seems only allowed to give 5, not sure if a day or all together to the one person
gifted gear cannot be refined
